Re: ricer rims?

i drive an 06 titan king cab SE 2*4 with a stage 3 chip and a rhino spray in bedliner (i dont have many mods yet, although i am thinking about installing the actuator for remote locking on my tailgate). basically i use it to get from point a to point b, to haul equipment, and occasionally to drag race against my buddies. So i was considering getting an airbag system so that i can raise it for normal use and lower it for dragging, and of course i really want some motegi rims (currently debating about drag tires, as they would suck *** for hauling ****, of which i do quite a bit). If anyone knows of some tires that are decent draggers but can function well when hauling (tall order but just wondering) let me know. thanks.

Re: ricer rims?

To answer your question, no you cant throw those rims on your titan. Titan's are 6 lug and your Sebring is either a 4 or a 5 lug, plus, the offset is way off for a truck. Truck rims and car rims dont match either way. Plus, that would look just goofy. Sell the rims and get you a new set :-)

Uh ohhh....

Andrew

PS I think that the Motegi owner (you) would be the most informed about those rims. I don't know anyone here that has them.

Re: ricer rims?

actually, the guy got arrested, but it does give me a 35 hp boost, very nice, only cost around $400. Ill see if anyone else has them, but that guy is no more (like i said, it was a chop shop) and i bought this when i bought the truck, right as the 06s started rolling out. ill contact the guy that gave me his name and see if i can find another supplier, but im pretty sure that its custom.
