All you need is a good A/T or M/T like Bfg's. Ive used the BFG A/T's and really like them. They lasted me a long time. I also go out to the desert and ride bikes and never had any issues with the tires. Heres a chart from Bfg:

i had the same bfg's on my 91 toyota pickup 4x4 and i found that they get chopped up in the terrain out here i was hoping to find a tire with a little more longevity any one know what wear is like on the kuhmo's. then again i dont know if the bfg's have changed compound in the last 5 years since i had them.

I've been having good luck with my X-Terrains. I've already got 10,000 miles on them and still got alot of tread left. I also ride dirt bikes and snowboard. These tires handle well in the desert, dunes and in the snow. I've always had swampers on my other trucks but i'm very impressed with these tires so I picked up a set of 37's and put my 35's on my stock rims.

Look at Kartman's truck. He is running 35's w/ fiberglass fenders, 4" spindle lift, SAW coilovers, and TC uppers. Take a look at his vid's too.

Re: getting 4" prg performance kit need tire recomendation

in response to major films being filmed i havent seen anything, but im sure your talking about pirates of the carribean 3. there filming it in one of the hangars on one of the bases up here so its not likely i will see anything. also i wanted the xterrains but i was recomended to not use a 35 with this kit and they dont make 33's for a 18 inch wheel. i could probably swap the wheels off of another titan at the dealership i work for but im trying to avoid that because i will have to wrap the rims i swap with rubber due to the fact that my current tires are below minimum requirenments for retail sale. basically my titan is owned by the dealership for the moment and i can modify it and charge all parts against the cost of the truck, then i can buy the truck with parts and all and not have to pay out of pocket directly since i will be financing it into the purchase price. does anyone here know of anyone fitting 35's on there truck without damaging the fenders. btw i dont have mudflaps. also i cant find any pics or vids or kartmans truck.

I currently have Toyo MTs and they are great in the desert and on the street. BFG ATs or MTs are also very good out there.
