Question 18" x 9" Helo Maxx6 & tire pressure sensors (info needed)?

Hey all knowledgeable people out there with Helo Maxx6 rims. I'm a new user on this site so please be patient with me!! I'm looking for information as to whether or not the tire pressure sensors will fit on the Helo Maxx6 rims???

I just bought a set of extremely good condition used 18" x 9" Helo's and I want to mount them on my Titan with 35's after I install a lift. I'm hoping they will work with the sensors.....?

Please let me know if you have the info I need. By the way great site & great information everyone!!!!!

Re: 18" x 9" Helo Maxx6 & tire pressure sensors (info needed)?

Welcome to the Site. I'm in the same process trying to put sensors on my MB smooths. I'm debating whether to do it or not cause I'm getting expensive quotes just to transfer the sensor over to my new wheels because the tire shop has to remove the tires from the stockies which is like a seperate charge and then installing the new tires on the new wheels.

Thanks Guys!

EricCartmann, I see you have the helo's on your truck. What did you do about the sensors, dash light, & buzzer? Nice truck by the way....how do you like your rancho lift? Are you running rancho shocks or did you upgrade them to some of the coilovers from PRG?

sold the sensors with my stock wheel. The dash light just stays on. What buzzer are you talking about???

as for the Rancho, been great so far. i got the stock rs5000 rancho shoxs, i go off the road but do not do "offroading" so I don't think I need coilovers. at least not yet.

I see....I guess I may have too...have to live with the light on. The buzzer or bell I was referring to dings when the light comes on indicating a low tire. I've had this happen in mine a couple times when I got nails in my tires and lost pressure & when the dash light comes on.

Thanks for the Rancho feedback...that is the lift I'm going with. I'm just not sure if I should buy the lift without shocks and go for the upgrade right away or just try the shocks that come with the lift. (I'm not an "off-roader" either. Just do alot of off-road driving during the hunting seasons).

Has anyone ever tried to modify the Helo Maxx 6 rims to accomodate the low pressure sensors? If so any luck????
