I heard a rumor they were being discontinued and they were priced for liquidation. I don't know if that's true or not. And I don't even remember starting this thread 3 years ago hahaha.

I believe the 08+ brakes rotors are like 13.5"-13.8" and the calipers are bigger as well. You should be able to get away with steel braided brake lines and new pads to make it set. The Big Brake Kit is more for the 04-07 guys who have crappy factory brakes. There have been plenty of positive reviews of the kit enough for me to throw down 900 bucks on this thing.

I don't know if it's just me or not, but I can't get a hold of Kyle from Stillen at all. Been trying for two weeks and he has yet to respond. After this sale (if it even happens) I really doubt I'll be buying anything from Stillen again.

All, this is a good source of information. I've been reading for years, just bought my second Titan last year. I ordered the Stillen big brake kit last night, and replied to the auto message with a question about buzzing. I had a response within an hour on a Sunday night! I wonder if Kyle no longer works at Stillen since his post was 2 years ago? I will post my thoughts on the brake kit. I have flushed/bled the system after replacing with Goodridge SS lines without much improvement to date.

Please do post - I was going to go with 08's for my 04, but now I'm on the fence for the stillen's...

Yeah, I got that too. How does the Stillen BBK stack up against a set of Frozen Rotors and High-Performance Brake Pads. Is Stillen worth the extra coin?

etalian2005 is right, you can print a template to verify whether it will fit your wheels. I put it on last weekend plus some Hawk LT/SUV pads on the back, have the factory 18" wheels on an LE. It is a tight clearance between the wheel and caliper, so no 17 would fit imo. Service and shipping from Stillen were great, and the price is great compared to other kits at 3k. I broke it in per spec and have stomped on it a couple of times since then to test. The brakes feel much more substantial than stock, and they should be able to handle a much greater tempreture range before fading b/c of the increased mass. The pedal is still soft unfortunately, and doesn't inspire confidence immediately. I will try again, but in a couple of stabs yesterday I still couldn't lock up the wheels on dry pavement...I did stop pretty quick though! My other car is a 545i and the brakes are like a brick wall, maybe I'm spoiled...I would feel better if I could lock the tires though.

Yeah, you are definitely spoiled coming from your BMW.

I certainly never expect my truck to stop like my 330Ci
Dunlop, did the kit come with rear stainless lines? I'm buying this kit next paycheck, and I think it would be pretty pointless to make this upgrade and leave all those rubber lines in the rear.
