mud grapplers in snow/ice?

i have 35in mud grapplers on my truck and was wondering how they are in the snow. i'm guessing that they are ok in deep stuff but probably pretty terrible on hardpack and ice. was thinkin of puttin my originals back on but they have about 35k on them.

Re: mud grapplers in snow/ice?

Like you said, they are great in the deep snow. Not the best for the slick stuff, but they are better in packed snow/ice than the crappy Goodyear's that come stock on them.

Had..

Mods: Rancho 5.5" lift kit. PRG Deaver springs. 20" MB Motoring Yumas wrapped with 35x12.5x20 Nitto Mud Grapplers. PRG's stainless steel endlinks. Aries chrome step tubes. Lund stainless steel bug shield. Chrome tailgate accessory.

Don't sell them short.

Air them down to increase your footprint on the road-those tires are built for flex and the side lugs can assist with grip...something to think about.
