Should I paint my wheels black?

I have two sets of factory 18" wheels. I was thinking of getting 33" Toyo MT's wounted to one set and thought about painting that set black too.

I am not sure how this would look though. The truck is a black 4x4 LE KC. It has a chrome grill and accents as well as the big chrome mirrors.

Anyone have any pictures of a black titan with black factory wheels??

Re: Should I paint my wheels black?

Should look pretty good. I have a set of Black AR wheels on order. Also shouldn't have to clean them as often either..........

I think you would need some chrome on there somewere. IMO all black would luck funky. If you have a accent color like a chrome that would look sweet.

Re: Should I paint my wheels black?

I figured I would leave the chrome portion of the NISSAN on the center cap unpainted

Re: Should I paint my wheels black?

You should have them powder coated if you are going to paint them.

Re: Should I paint my wheels black?

I'm going to do black on black. I think it will look good. I also agree with aquaholic. If your going to paint them powder coating is going to do a better job. Plus (check your local listings) it's cheaper. These are what I was thinking of doing on my black LE. Something along those lines.

Re: Should I paint my wheels black?

i think you should paint them black but not matte black. you should deffinatly go with some shiny glossy black paint. that would look bad a$$

Re: Should I paint my wheels black?

American Racing has some black Fuel Wheels that are glossy black with a machined lip. That is what I will be getting. Will be awsome. 22"s
