BFG 285/70R17 AT KO on stock 2WD XE?

I am installing a minilift on my 2WD XE CC in the next couple of weeks. It is ordered, but I have not received it yet. I ordered the BFG 285/70R17 AT KO's and they are already in. I was thinking about having them installed this weekend, before I get the minilift put on. Everything that I can find on any website (tires.com fitment guide, etc...) says that the tires will fit under a stock XE.

Does anyone have any insight or experience with this? I want to make sure that everything will be ok if I get the tires installed first. I wasn't planning on doing it this way, but it just kind of worked out like that.

Thanks guys (and gals)!

I had them on a 2004 stock, unlifted 4x4 w/o any problem. As you probably know, that is the OEM tire size for the Off-Road package.

Those are the tires and size I'm thinking of putting on my stock 05 XE 4x4 w/o OR package. Can you show us pics when you get them installed before the mini-lift so I can get an idea of how they'll look?

Thanks!

I know that the 4x4 sits about a half an inch higher in the front. I didnt see .5" making that much of a difference. I think I will get them put on. If for some reason they don't fit, we'll figure something else out then. I will post pics.
