Question procomp 6" and STOCK 17 rims

how much of the tie rods did some of u guys have to grind to get the stocker 17" rims to fit?

The tie rods are supposed to be switched from side to side not ground down. The drivers moves to the passanger side and the passanger side moves to the drivers side. The only thing you grind is the spindle so your turning radius isn't killed.

thanx aquaholic,

i posted in another spot but thanx for prompting me to go check my tierods, i sworked late the other nite and believe it or not i actually took the tierod ends off and somehow put them back on...in factory config, which we all know now, even me, doesn't work. i do see why they rec. welding on the turn stop reinforcement plates and why ya'll grind the spindles.
