I am getting a 6in procomp lift and want to know if these tires will fit on my stock 18's. The only reason i ask is b/c many people say that the terra grapplers are wider than most tires in that size. Any one have this combo and have any problems? Or any one with a recomendation for an at or mud tire for a $1k for the set in that size.
I don't have that lift, but if you are keeping the stock wheels, they should fit. Most people get into trouble with the offset and width of aftermarket wheels. With the stock wheels they should tuck in there nicely.
I have the Nitto Terra Grappler 325/65 on 18" MotoMetal 951 B's. I had to do the pinch weld mod and remove my mud flaps to get the clearance I needed because of the severe offset of the Mottos. You will be fine putting them on the OEMs. They are wider than most 33" tires but they'll fit. The guy I got the wheels from had the Terra Grapplers put back on his 18" OEMs when he decided to sell the Mottos to me. When I met him to pick up the wheels I saw the Grapplers on the OEMs and they looked great! I have been extremely happy with the ride, wear, and overall performance of the Nitttos.
Cooper makes the Discoverer STT in that size, not sure what the price is though.
I plan on getting the Cooper ST next time around in the 35x12.50-17" size for my nice wheels. Then when I finally burn the rubber off my stock 18's which I run in the wintertime, I'll probably go with the ATR 325/65-18. Not certain, but I'd say that you could get a set of four STT's for just over $1k. I think the last time I priced them they were like $250 each or so which included mount/balance/etc.
I have had very good luck with cooper tires through the years. I had 2 sets of ST 31x10.50-15's on my ZR2. The first set lasted almost 40k and the second set I ran for about 15k then sold the truck, kept wheels/tires and the tires are now on my Dad's Wrangler
Honestly you can't go wrong with the Cooper tires. That is just my opinion/experience. They also seem to be priced more reasonably.
The only reason I'm running ProComp Mud Terrains right now is because the guy gave me a super deal on them. I got 4 wheels/tires for just over $1400!!! That's right, 4-35x12.50-17's and 4-17x9" Xtreme Alloy 1079's. Wheels were $135 each and tires were $191 each+mount/balance. Seemed like a great deal to me. Eventually all my wheels will have cooper rubber on them though.

with your suspension? You'd need to do some serious cutting.
Yes, on my mini-lift.? I've read several guys have that size on same setup. But they are using a variety of different branded tires. If I can't use the Toyos then I'll just save up and get some 315/70/17s for my off-road wheels.
