Pro Comp All Terrain Tread Life?

I am looking at tires, and am wondering if anyone can give me some thoughts on the treadlife of the Pro Comp All-Terrain (just the regular AT, not the extreme or Xterrain).

I know they claim a 50,000 mile warranty, but I am hoping someone has some real world experience with these.

I am looking at the 33x12.50x17's.

Thanks-

Re: Pro Comp All Terrain Tread Life?

Well a friend has 33x12.50-15's on his Jeep Wrangler X with a 4" lift. He has 25k on them and they look brand new. Not sure how they hold up on our trucks though which are quite a bit heavier than a Jeep.

Re: Pro Comp All Terrain Tread Life?

I had them on my stock OR wheels, same size. I had 15K on them and just over half tred loss. So est. 28-30K of life? Depends on your driving too. I have a heavy foot. You might get more life. I ran them Oct-April. I just traded them (W&T's) for OEM 18". My Big brake kit will be here Thursday.

Re: Pro Comp All Terrain Tread Life?

Well, I know you're looking at the regular AT's, but my xtreme AT's have the same treadlife warranty on them, so I'm assuming they are similar compound..I've got about 11k on them now and they are just barely starting to show some wear, so I'm very happy so far!

Re: Pro Comp All Terrain Tread Life?

I had them on my c/k 1500 for about a year with no tread wear except the edges of the tread had little chips from offroading. I'm sure your can exceed the warranty tread life with proper rotation, inflation and driving conditions.
