305/70/17 Maxxis Bighorns

well it was long overdue for some tires, and some tires that actually fit my truck.

i went for a 305/70/17 tire. but to my surprise.....
it doesnt look THAT much bigger in my wheel well. they still look great, but i wasnt supposed to be able to 35's on the truck without MAJOR rubbing issues. and these are bout a half inch less than that . im a lil shocked, and i probably would have went bigger if i wouldnt have known ahead of time. all i have is a leveling kit
all in all though. i love it

theyre a lot taller than my 285/70's that were on there. im wondering if i could have squeezed a 315/70/17 in there??

all in all though, they look great. fairly quiet too given the sides of them

Re: 305/70/17 Maxxis Bighorns

Those tires look wicked!!!!! Very aggressive...You said that you dont have any major rubbing issues with just a leveling kit...Those tires are ~ 33.8" so what minor rubbing do you have if any? Been interested in purchasing tires in that size as well...Thanks...

Those look nice! Did you do the pinch weld mod also along with the leveling kit?

Re: 305/70/17 Maxxis Bighorns

Finally someone installed the tire size I wanted to get! Looks good!
Oh dude those eye sores on your bumper can be pushed out on a warm day...trust me mine looked the same until I pushed them out with the tire iron!

Re: 305/70/17 Maxxis Bighorns

Ok I am loving those tires. It is just what I was looking for. Originally i was thinking about lifting mys truck 6 inches and putting on 35s. been rethinking this becuase of the lift. got on the forum to try and find the max tire without the lift....think i got the answer.
