Another offset question..

Im looking at some different wheels in 24x10 size. Now many manufacturers make a +18 and +35 offset for the same wheel yet recomend the 18 for the Titan. I would like something closer to the 5.5" Backspacing (+25 offset) so the wheel will tuck under the wheel well on the bed and the +35 accomplishes this. Would the +35 hit the spindle or anything else in the front? Is this why the are telling me to get the +18?

A 10" wide wheel with a +18mm offset has a 6.25" backspacing. So the rim will stick in towards the steering knuckle by 3/4" more than the OEM rims. Might work with a street tire but I wouldn't buy them on-line and end up paying for shipping them back.

With +35mm offset on a 10" width rim, you're looking at 7" b.s. ... I'd be surprised if the wheel would even go on, (even w/o a tire).
