22s will fill the tire well better but they will be a little slower and usually cost more to get the tires.
I have 20s and after my drop I am happy with them but I went with a decent size tire as well.
Yeah I'm worried abt the slow down too. I was leaning towards 20's as I do plan to drop the rear just to level it out. I think seeing pics will make up my mind.
I think 22's fit the Titan size better and wheel well like Bighitter mentioned. I have 20's on the wifes Explorer and they fit perfect. So I think 20's will leave something to be desired if on the Titan. I want to lower my rear as well, I have the shackles, just haven't had the time to install them.
However, if you were going for the 2.5" lift up front I would go with 20's and bigger tires as I like that look as well. But if you are going for a level or a lower look I think 22 - 24 will give more of the look you are looking for...
Here is mine as of yesterday before I finally install my billet grille...lol Also I will say you will notice a little slow down, but hey the truck is still quick regardless. You just won't get the instant wheel spin like before, but hey they will still chirp.

Bighitter...nice truck...although I think the 22's would set it off better. But, I will agree that if someone was wanting the speed that the 20's could be an acceptable compromise
BTW...DRKSDE just pmed you back...lol

You guys have def helped me out so many thanks. I tend to hash things over & over before deciding so when I finally make up my mind I'll def post pics.
Do you like this size tire?? i have been trying to decide. Probably putin on the new 20's tommarrow and gunna throw some some used 305-50-20's on to save cash. The height is good and close to stock but i really dont need 12" wide tires. Also i would think the 285's wou;d be lighter too. thats my main concern is wt.

Size doesn't necessarily make up the weight of the tire. I've been researching for a while now & the 20" General Grabbers & BF Goodrich g-Force tires are some of the lightest available @ 40 lbs. In comparison the Michelin LTX's weigh in @ 56 lbs.
Both '04's? I tend to be very anal abt my rides so it's nice to see others take care of theirs too.
Mines an 06 but its kept immaculant. Even te engine compartment.
Ya i found out the lower profile tires are just as heavy because they beef up the sidewall more. the BFG KDW 2's are sweet but just so expensive. Especially if you drive a lot of miles. The 20's i have only weigh 24 lbs a piece so i have a good start
Oh ya and besides the 22's being a little heavier, the ride will be a bit rougher with the lower profile
