Upgrading my Titan this week... odometer adjustment?

I've already paid for my upgrade-- just waiting for all the parts to arrive to be installed later this week.

Question: I am upgrading to 35" tires. Does anyone know how/where to get the computer/odometer adjusted for the new tire size?

I know on Trans Ams a programmer can adjust the computer for various tire sizes-- what's available for the Titan? Are programmers available-- the local 4-Wheel Parts place doesn't carry programmers for Nissan.

I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, if anyone can help.

Thanks.

As far as I know, the Titan ECU is not programmable for tire sizes.

I guess now you will have an excuse for your neighbors complaining that your driving too fast in your neighborhood.

Me just gearhead. You need hacker.

Also the XE and LE/SEs have slightly different size tires, as does the Off Road package. Could you just reflash the ECU with the No Fear information?
(listen to me, like I know what the freak 'reflash' even means)

look at the bright side... you get more mileage under warranty... at least your suspension is covered for 3yr/36K if you opted for that... but like much will go wrong with it anyway...

oh, and POST DETAILED PICS....

The tire sensors are for monitoring the air pressure in the tire and have absolutely nothing to do with speedo calibration. And to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever had their speedo recalibrated to correct for changes in tire sizes.

Re: Upgrading my Titan this week... odometer adjustment?

The "NO FEAR " is not factory installed, it's an aftermarket set up. That's why the speedo is not calibrated for the 35's.

Its very common to reprogram for tire sizes, and other things, on Trans Ams using aftermarket programmers...

Yup, there's no way to adjust the speedo for different size tires. And to add to it, I think it would require reflashing the ECU AND TCU, if you were able to.
