ProComp tires advise

Local dealer has a "Buy 3, get 4th free" on ProComp All-terrain Radials. I had gone in to look at Nitto's, but he caught my attention with the ProComps.
What's your opinion on the ProComps? (They cost a little more per tire than Nittos, but with the sale, well, you know..)

Re: ProComp tires advise

Pro comps are nice tires they are made by Cooper Tire one of the last American tire companies. They do have a bit of a reputations for wearing quickly but I think that may be overblown as the kind of guy who buys Pro Comp is probably a bit more performance minded (read drives harder) than the average Joe.

Re: ProComp tires advise

I didn't have good luck with my Pro Comp Mud Terrains, a friend has used the all-terrains before though and gotten around 50k out of them.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the All-Terrains.
