I want the stock size tire and don't do any offroading.
I read a lot of people say they like the Bridgestone Revo's. The Michelin are great but kind of high priced. What about the Bridgestone Dueler? Yokohama
Geolandar A/T-S? Anyone ever use these?
I bought the Deuler Alenza's about a month ago, great tire for highway use. Their significantly better on wet roads then the Goodyear SRA's, ride is about the same.

I live in the north east and have always been partial to BFG tires. I have run the AT KO's on several trucks. Like other tires you mentioned they are pricey, but the offer a good compromise between on road ride and off road ability. What I do know is they wear like iron. Keep them rotated and properly inflated and they will treat you right. Have you looked at the BFG rugged trails? Nissan offers them as original equipment on some trim levels.
I looked for the BF Rugged Trail T/A and the only size I see is 275/65R18? I know the standard equipment is 265/70R18. WOuld those fit?
Sure. I am running 275/65/18 Goodyear Silent Armor on the wife's Armada. I think if you look at on of the tire calculators, you may run a little slower than indicated speed (running 64mph while showing 65 on the speedo).
Nice tires and quiet ride. Haven't had snow yet this year, but work good in heavy rain.
Get the Revos. I've got 15k on my set of them. Great tire.

I'm starting to lean towards the Revo's myself.....I just know i'm ready to get the GY's off there (one already shows overinflation balding although I KNOW they are always 35psi). Those are crap tires at 30K miles

If I don't do any offroading are the Revo's still better then the Alenza's? The Alenza's have a longer warranty of 65K and better UTQG of 700AB vs. 50K and 500AB for the Revo's. Just wondering why everone likes the Revo's over the Alenza's.
I went with the Revo's based on positive experiences with Bridgestone in the past.

I haven't heard of the Alenza's before. When I was looking to purchase tires, I saw good reviews on the Revo's on tirerack.com, and on this site.

Simple. For the reason you quoted that you seem to be questioning....
The longer a tire lasts, or is warranted, typically means that it is a stiffer, harder compound tire. That also means it does not "grip" as well as a softer compound tire. It will not corner as well, provide the same level of traction in all weather conditions either. Basically, the only plus is that it will last longer....
