What are the quietest tires-

I have an 04-(285/70/17s). I had the BFG Rugged Trail TAs and they were quiet, but wore out too fast. I replaced them with Kuhmo's Road Venture ATs, but the tire noise is so much louder that I am considering a swap.
What are the quietest tires on the forum??

Re: What are the quietest tires-

Which Duelers did you have? Because I've had excellent wear with the Revos in the past, and they are pretty damn quiet.

Sammy, See my edit. I ran downstairs to be sure I didnt have my friends tires and mine mixed up (we both bought Kuhmo's when our OEM's were gone. He has the duelers on his Chebby. I had the BFGs.

Sorry about the edit- caused a 2nd post (had edit page open too long?).

Re: What are the quietest tires-

The quietest tires would be passenger tires.

Re: What are the quietest tires-

I hear no difference between the Rugged Trails and the Revos.

ditto on the Alenzas, i just recently put on a set and the ride and lack of noise reminds me of the michelins i had on my previous vehicle, the only difference is my wallet is about $200 heavier.

Too many rock concerts in my youth...can't hear that well. I have also been married for many years and I have an "auto-filter" on my hearing. I can tune out anything.
