Anyone use either Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor or Bridgestone Bridgestone Dueler A/T

The BFG Trails A/T(OEM) tires are not the best for the winter season. Can I get some advise on who has run either of the Goodyear or Bridgestone tires. My tire size is 285/70/17. Your suggestions are appreciated.

i have the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor's on my truck and i like them in the snow and essentially no road noise. not sure on wear yet as i don't have a lot of miles on them.

I put the Goodyears (LT285s) on my truck last year after the Christmas storms dumped 2+ ft of snow (drifts over 4.5ft on my street) here in Denver. The stock BFGs were wortheless, but the Goodyear's have been a huge improvement. Off-road traction this past summer was very good and their performance in the snow/ice has been excellent. Only compalint is the price. Wear has been good, I have about 15/20k and they are showing very little wear.

I have the Goodyears on the wife's Armada (275/65/18) and so far no complaints. Work very well in snow and on ice, but she won't let me play in the dirt.

Ride very smooth and quiet on the highway too.

For the last year until my recent trade I had the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo on my 2004. They were great tires. I almost asked the dealer to take back their new Goodrich Rugged Trail and let me keep my old Duelers.

If you haven't purchased tires yet, I'll tell you that I am more than pleased with my Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. Although I've had them less than a week, I've tested them at high speeds and on bumpy terrain. Aggressive appearance without giving up the smooth/quiet ride. Even being a diehard, I prefer these to my BFG K/O's. Keep in mind, I stayed with the stock size, 265/70R18. Going bigger always sacrifices the ride, depending on how big and tread type. They are pricey, but worth it in my opinion; had to order them due to no one having 18" rims tires in stock. I called over 10 different tire stores looking for best deal, since I squeek when I walk.
