I'm in the middle of deciding what wheel/tire set up I want. Do I put on 2008 titan 20" w/33" Toyo AT's? Or should I Do 17" wheels with a more agressive tread and flat black bushwacker flares? See sig to see the truck.

The 17s will be cheaper and a lot more available. Plus you will get a little softer ride. A little better for off road because of the ride. Something about low profile tires off road scares me, but I see a lot of guys do it.
The 20s will give it a much more modern look and are probably better for street use. They will handle better. Probably fine for most off road too. But they are going to be more expensive and harder to find.
I think your truck looks good the way it sits right now. However, if you have to spend the money, I'd skip on the factory 20" LE wheels. They do add to the 'bling 'bling factor somewhat, but they're only 20"x8" which is stupid. When they went to 20" wheels/tires on the '08 LE's, they should of made them in a 20"x9" size like on the Dodge Ram. 20x8's look too "skinny" IMO.

I just put some 286/65/18 BFG AT Ko's on my truck and they are awesome. They really added to the look while still giving me a good on road tire that will last long.
IMHO: Beef up the tread on the 17's. 17's have the largest selection and you can do better with less $$$$. I like 305/55-20's but not enough to buy new wheels for IMO.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be off road maybe 3 or 4 times a year, so I think I'll go with wider 20" wheels and a mild tread design. I like these wheels in the attachment. Any thoughts will help.

Wide tires look great but they decrease gas mileage due to more friction.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
Wide tires look great but they decrease gas mileage due to more friction.
Bigger wheels decrease mileage, because of more rotational mass too. And are you saying I should get the 20x9's? Those M26's are made in a 20x9 For 265$ a wheel. Or I could get bigger wheels and save money for other mods.
