Re: Firestone Destination AT

I've had my set for about 3k miles. I shopped around and priced tires for about a week, then went to Firestone and bought the Destination ATs. 4 Installed with tax for $580. So far, I've been pleased with looks, ride and sound. If you look at the tire online or in person, the tread is not as aggressive as say the BFG AT KOs. The Dest. AT is an on-road tire with off-road capability. The looks, reviews and price sold me. (Also, check out the Bridgestone Dueler Revo ATs, they looked nice.) I went from the OEM BFG Rugged Trail 285s to these. I bought my truck with 18k miles on it and I bought tires at 25k miles. Probably could have pushed the BFGs to 30k, but a couple were at the wear bars already. Dang gas pedal!! Take a look at them and check pricing. Good luck.

Re: Firestone Destination AT

Thanks. I have the BFG AT/KO's right now but I don't feel like shelling out $800+ again for a new set of tires. Don't get me wrong, the BFG's are great and wear well, but I wanted to try something different. The only thing I don't like about the BFG's is they are stiffer thus making the ride harsher.
