OK so this is sort of a 2 part question, i am currently shopping for some 22's and found some that i really like, but didn't know what the wheel specs were for our trucks. oh and the 2nd part of the question is to tell me what you all think of these...
22x9.5 6 on 5.5 +12 mm 5.682 is the only one that might work, and you might need Kartman's pinch-weld-mod since they will stick out 1 1/4" more than stock SE and LE rims. What tires are you thinking of running?
havent really decided on a brand, figure i would wait and see what they offer me as a package deal, but i am thinking 295-45. and i was afraid that once i found some wheels i liked they would have any that fit without any sort of mod. Do you by chance know what the exact specs are for the Titans, so that way i can tell if they will fit? Appreciate it!
The SE and LE are 18x8 with 5.5" backspacing, so the 22x9.5 6 on 5.5 +12 mm, 5.682" backspacing is real close to stock, (except rims are a bunch wider). But they are about 2/10" to 1/4" closer to your steering knuckle, so they won't stick out the full 1 1/2" wider than stock. It might rub when you turn the steering wheel to full lock, but if it does, here's the pinch-weld-mod: Simplify Pinch Weld Mod
The 6.785" backspacing version would likely rub the steering knuckle.
Btw, the XE and Off Road rims are 17x7.5" with 5.375" backspacing.

AAAHHHH, ok, now i gotcha, i never read into the pinch-weld-mod, just figured it was something i would have to do to make they rims simply fit, not having to do with rubbing issues. I really appreciate all the help tho!
6x5.5 or 6x139.7 If you want to broaden your search here's what you need to stay within the fenders for a 22x9.5
22x9.5 6x137.9 Offset range: +12 to +50.
The closer you push to either side of these offset ranges the greater your chance of rubbing will be. Most rim companies try to build around 12-18mm offsets for our trucks.

Here are some tire options
285.50.22
295.45.22
305.45.22
A +50mm offset on a 9.5" rim gives a backspacing of 7.25".
That sticks the inside edge of the rim 1.75" closer to the steering knuckle than a stock LE or SE rims, (1.875" closer to the steering knuckle than the inside edge of an Off Road or XE rim). Wouldn't that be rubbing?
