bfg's on stock 08

will the bfg at ko LT285/65r18 fit on stock wheels and fit in the well with no mods i do not want to take the mud flaps off or do the pinch weld mod.

Yes, those will fit just fine under there with no modifications. Stock size (on my '06) is 285/70/17. Seeing as how your 285/65/18 would be skinnier, they will work just fine.

285 is the width measurement...they will fit fine on a stock Titan, but not because they are skinnier.

In metric sizes, the first number is the width (in mm), the second number is a percentage sidewall based on the first number, and we all know what the last number is...

Its confusing because of the different units of measurement.

285/70/17 is 11.2 inches wide with 7.85 inches of sidewall, for an overall height of 7.85" x 2 + 17 = 32.7"

285/65/18 is 11.2 inches wide with 7.3 inches of sidewall, for an overall height of 7.3" x 2 + 18 = 32.6"
