08 Pro4X Tire Question

Hey guys I need some first hand knowledge and advise on a tire fitment issue. I have a 08 CC Pro4X. The OEM wheels are 18”x8” wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A P275/70R18 which measure 33” tall and 11.1” wide on a 8” wide wheel.

I am going to put a leveling kit on it first, not only for a little bit of clearance but I just cant stand the factory rake. I had the PRG mini lift on my 04 CC 4X4 with off-road package. I want to put a good set of mud terrain tires on the truck I do not want to purchase aftermarket wheels. I will also be willing to take off the mud flaps and do the pinch weld mod. There are a few options out there that I am looking at but before I order them I want to make sure that they fit and want to know what you guys think about the tire itself.

35x12.5R18 Toyo Open Country MT= 35x13.2 on 9” wheel, Cooper Discovery STT= 34.66x12.5 on 10” wheel, Nitto Mud Grappler 35.04x12.2 on 10”wheel.
33x12.5R18: Toyo= 33x12.7 on 9”wheel, Cooper Discovery STT= 32.66x12.49 on 10” wheel, Nitto Mud Grappler 32.95x12.68 on 10” wheel.
325/60R18 Cooper Discovery STT = 33.22x13.3 on 9.5” wheel

I would like to go with a big of tire as possible but don’t want any rubbing or pre mature wear or other problems. If there are any other brands out there with similar prices please let me know. Any first hand experience would be greatly appreciated . Thanks.

Re: 08 Pro4X Tire Question

I forgot to mention the Hankook MT. Has anybody had any dealings with them?

Re: 08 Pro4X Tire Question

The 35x12.50s will fit with the Pinch weld mod. As for which tires you should go with, the Mud Graps ride pretty good but they're really loud, they'll last 40k miles. The Cooper's and Toyo's ride excellent and are as quiet as ATs and will also last 40k miles. No sure about the Hankooks, as I've never owned or ridden in a truck with them.
