Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

I was wondering what the biggest tires I can get for a 20 Inch wheel with a Leveling Kit. I do not want my truck super high, but just a little lifted. I seen a 275 55 Tire, and I was wondering how big that was. Thankx.

Re: Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

doing this as we speak.

I bought some 35x13.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Radials m/s on 20" Konig Coastal wheels.

They rubbed, greatly. I'm going to trade for a set of Nitto Mud grapplers in a 305x55 which won't rub.

I first fitted the 35's without the leveling kit, rub. I installed the leveling kit, still rub. I suspect a 33x12.5 would clear without issue as I've seen other members run that set up. I'm not sure if a 35x12.5 will clear without the pinch weld mod...

Now, If I wanted to run without my fender liners the set up I purchased might have been ok, but I prefer to have the fender liners in.. NE winters get salt everywhere...

Re: Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

Well I am confused. I need tires bad, I am SLICK, bad and I want to go ahead and order my tires. I want to put a leveling kit on but I dont have it yet, so what size tires will fit right now without the leveling kit? I was looking at the Pirelli ATR 275 55 and I really like them. I have a 2wd Titan. I need to order tires tonight so please help me out. Will those tires fit without The Leveling kit? Thanks.

Re: Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

Also, I am not good with all of this, As long as its near the width of my tire before it should work on my rims . Right? Like if I had a 285 50 Tire right now, and I get a 275 /55 it shoudl all work ok right?

Re: Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

you should try 305X55 20 it has a nice stance and would not rub that bad. This is what I have set up on my Truck you might need to make modifications to the mudguards

325/60/18 is the biggest you can go with a leveling kit with out cutting anything. you will need to lose the mudflaps though

Sorry I guess the pictures can't upload because of file size. I will post once I re-size it.

they're talking about aftermarket 20" rims not stock 18"s though so... probably a little smaller

Re: Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

35/12.50/18 is sitting pretty right now on my 08 Pro-4X with nothing but a leveling kit. That is the biggest tires that will fit! Unless you want to hack up some fenders massively.

Re: Biggest Tires with Leveling Kit.

Does a 255/75/17 tire have a high enough load rating for my Armada?

I like the new BFG's M/Ts, and that size is only a hair smaller then the 265/70/18's that it came with the truck.

These would be for weekend trail trips, mounted to a set of 17" steelies.

Thanks
