18" to 20" fit question

Alright, so it's finally time to shed the stock GY SRA's and we all know the choices are limited in the stock size. So I've decided to upgrade from the LE 18" wheels to 20" so I can put on some decent tires. OK, so that's the argument for the wife. Really it's just an excuse to upgrade to 20"!

All the research done lately has made my head spin, but I think I have my arms around it. I've narrowed my choices down to a few wheels and want some more knowledgeable folks to confirm they will work.

New tires will be Michelin LTX M/S in 275/60/20

Left to right:

MB Gunner 6 20X8.5 6-139.7HR25AM, the Anthracite Machined finish. Backspace almost 1/4" deeper than stock.

Liquidmetal Wingman 20X8.5 6-139.7HR18CMM, Charcoal finish. Backspace is over 1/2" deeper. Closer to calipers but should still fit OK.

MB KL-77 20X9 6-139.7HR18BMF, black finish. Backspace is almost 1/4" deeper.


What do you guys think, will any of these three work? Will I need to do the tack weld mod since I'm going to a wider rim and tire?

The other important question is which wheel looks best for my Granite '06!
