new rotors

Im looking for some front and rear drilled rotors for my 04 because of the bad shake it has developed. I have seen a few companies now and some say 04-05 some say 06-07 and some say 04-07. So are they all the same for all years?

On the '04 and early '05s, it depends if you had the free brake upgrade from Nissan or not. If you had it, then your brakes are '06 brakes and that's what you should order.

Write down the VIN and take it to your dealer. They can tell you what's been done under warranty or TSB work.

As for the other question, I honestly thought that the brakes were the same 04-07.

Re: new rotors

For my '04, I bought PowerSlot rotors and ceramic brake pads. Fits our '04's like a glove.

They work great!

Well, if the quality of the 08' rotors is the same as the 06', I'll take the power slots!!

My 06' brakes didn't give me any trouble until I had them turned and new pads installed.

They are wearing down really fast and have (at speed) really bad judder...

Re: new rotors

what was done by the dealer for the 04s to put on the 06 brakes? was it just a direct swap?

Here are the part numbers and technician's work order description, that another member posted.

Btw, you can tell if you still have the old rotors by looking at the edge, (side view). One side was thicker than the other on the old ones.
