Re: Anyone Running These

what rims? what width and offset?

I can tell you on majority of after market rims it won't clear on a 4wd w/leveling kit. I have a 2.5" leveling kit on my 4wd and my 305/65R/17s rub'd pretty hard til I added a 3" body lift so more than likely with a bad offset like mine -12 9" wide rims you won't clear stock rims may be a different story, or rims that aren't so wide with more positive offset stock OR rims are 17x7.5" and +25 offset so something like that could clear but like I said, most aftermarket rims are wider, and less offset... so you'll need to post what the rim offset/width are for anyone to help

Re: Anyone Running These

Those would only stick out an inch more than the stock 18s, and if they are the Nitto TGs, they are 34x12" on an 17x8 rim. It would probably be close.

I thought about those, but a bit wide for my OEM 17x7.5s. Don't remember seeing anyone running them though. Maybe you can be the Guinea Pig.

Worst case would probably be losing the front mud guards, and needing Kartman's pinch-weld-mod

You asked an incomplete question...You gave a tire size and brand...Congragulations on knowing my crystal ball would fill in the gaps!

You could try a search....

Before you get sensitive and start pouting remember that this is a somewhat popular type of question...One that could be answered with a search...

Somewhat less likely to rub at the pinch weld, but backspacing, wheel width, and tire diameter are the biggest factors, except for really wide knobby M/Ts.

I also looked at those ... and they are a better fit for the stock 17s, (for anyone that wants to keep their stockers). The Toyo A/T 34s are heavier though. The Nittos are 61 lbs. and the Toyos are 67 lbs. so you might feel the difference in acceleration and about 1/2 mpg hit at the pump ... compared to the Nittos, (closer to 1.5 to 2 mpg compared to stock). On the positive side they have a 3-ply side-wall, but both are E-rated. If you don't have BT or OR gears, stick to a 33.

Btw, here's a pic of my Titan when it was 2" leveled, (with coilovers), and the aftermarket, 32.8" BFG AT KO LT285/70/17 58 lbs. tires. Looks well balance for a 2" lift, IMO, and only cost me 1 mpg over the stock 44 lbs. tires.

Another good choice for a level kit is the 33.2" LT295/70/17 Nitto TGs, that loufish is running. Better fit for a 2" level kit IMO.

Re: Anyone Running These

I'm very happy with my 295' Nittos, a true 33" tire...

I don't have ANY rubbing issue, but my wheels aren't 9" wide, and my b/s is 4.75"
I've done the "Loufish" pinchweld mod already...
