I had the brake judder TSB done on my 2004 Titan SE on 2-10-06 which worked great until now, I have the judder again. I called the dealer to ask about the extended 3 year warranty TSB but apparently thats 3 years after vehicle is purchased and not after it was fixed??
Anywho, it looks as if I will be doing a brake job soon. I did some searching but couldn't find any great responses to break pads or rotors. The best I found was the EBC greenstuff v4 and after 3 pages the guy mentioned they sucked. So here is where I need help...
Has anybody swapped out there front OEM pads and rotors and like them? How many miles you got on them?
I have alot of pad left, should I get the rotors cut and leave the pads?
Any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks, Jeff
Stillen big brake kit is the only option besides new 08 brakes the 08 brakes will clear the stock 18" wheels, the stillen requires 20"s I believe it says on the site. hope that helps. the 08s have larger diameter rotors run a search on here and it should turn up both

Is the stillen big brake kit alot better than the 08's? I am undecided on whether or not to up grad to 08 brakes or get the stillen kit.
I have the 18" rims so it would fit from what I read. I'm just not to sure how difficult this job is. I have always replaced my own brakes so thats not a worry. Just not sure with all the anti-lock brake crap if there are special procedures?
I have not really narrowed it down yet. Kind of got mixed reviews on all the products listed...Hopefully someone will chime in that used any of these or hear back from Kronos1965... Thanks for your help...Jeff

Nothing too bad about it. Just a straight up swap of parts really. Everything should fit good. I am not sure about the Stillen kit's performance, but it is a decent setup for a daily driver looking for more stopping power. My advice is to get a slotted type if you are choosing between slotted and crossdrilled. The drilled are PITA to break in and bed the pads. If you were looking to just end your judder issues and cut down on brake dust then an application like kronos should work fine.
I went all out and installed the Brembo Gran Tourismo 8 piston crossdrilled. I cant even describe the stopping power they provide.

ok I ran a search and did find one for the titan $4,100 sound right?... what does it run? and how big are they compared to say stock ones? I'm getting 20"s this week and am just researching in advance, I'm gonna be running 35x12.5x20 so I'll be needing better brakes eventually
are they for bigger rims? I found these. I thought big rotors were better, but it says nothing about that?
