The Return of the Judders - and How Nissan Made good!

I had my 2005 CC LE Big tow Black Titan back to the dealer shortly after I bought it in 2005 with only 5612 miles for replacement of the front pads and rotors under warranty. Everything seemed to be fine until last week at 24276 miles - the Judders returned. My local dealer - Sarafini Nissan - replaced 2 warped roteos - part number 40206-ZC01A - with another pair of the same part number and a set of Nissan front pads part # 41060-ZC027. Everything seems fine again. Are these the right part numbers for the Titan's famous "judder fix" - and if so - should I expect to need to replace them again in another 20K or so miles out of my pocket as my 3 year - 36K warranty is soon comming to an end?

My rotors and pads were replaced at 3500 miles, they now have 59,000 on those rotors and pads. I had the tires rotated and balnced last week and from what I can tell Istill 1/2 brake pads left. I am starting to get a little shutter but I only feel at at high speed braking and its not anything I would call abnormal.

I am starting to get high speed braking judders myself. I have an '04 with 76500 miles and had the brakes replaced 4 times in the first year it was mine. Going to be taking it to the dealer in the next few weeks for a few minor issues and will see what they say about this at that time.

I had the Famous brake fix done also and about 1000 miles later it came back. So I said F Nissan's crappy rotors I bought aftermarket (Raybestos) Needles to say a couple of thousand miles later the shuddering came back. WTF!! Is there any rotors out there that this Titan won't eat up.Without spending a small fortune?? It is getting annoying. I can't even enjoy driving the truck due to the warped rotors. If anyone has had good luck with aftermarket rotors please let us know before our fillings fall out of our mouth.

if you have 18"s or bigger, the stillen big brakes may work, if not the stock 08s are probably a better setup as they're larger diameter... make friends with someone who has an 08 and see if your rims clear their brakes and if it does you can get them god, I thought I was through worrying about brake judders when I had mine fixed in end of 05... guess now I have to just wait til it comes back... thank god I'm getting 20"s this week so I can get me some stillens later when I can afford it

wait, someone said stillens don't work with OR package, any reason?

I have the offroad rims they are 17" maybe that's why. Like you said we probably need 18" or better rims for the stillens to work.

sounds like the Brembo 8 calipers may be the baddest brake upgrade for the $4,100 it better be damm good

Mine have been judder free since the "final fix" 46,000 miles ago. The pads have 6 mm of lining left on the front, and 8 mm on the back, which seems like some life is left in them, [I got a 27 pt check at the dealer today along with a new radiator, and that's why I know the pad thickness].

I bedded the brakes on the street behind the dealership, since I didn't know if they took the time to do it correctly. Maybe they would have lasted just as long if I hadn't ... idk
