Flat Tire!!!

So long story short i got a flat on my way home from work yesterday...

Anyways, the little yellow lite came on when it started going flat warning me that something was a loof. its a exclamation mark with a circle around it.

Now the tire is fixed and everything is good, but the darn lite is still on...how do I get it to turn off?

Re: Flat Tire!!!

Check the pressure in all the tires, make sure they are within 3lbs of each other.

Re: Flat Tire!!!

If all is well, you have to drive a certain amount of mileage before it turns off (I think 15miles?).

Re: Flat Tire!!!

The TPMS works using static electricity, so you have to drive a bit for the new pressure to register. Keep in mind that if you simply put the spare on it will stay one. You might also want to check your other tires. I believe the light turns on when the psi drops to 25.

Re: Flat Tire!!!

Probably no sensor in the spare. When you get the original rim with the sensor back on there the light should go out.

Uhhh...No.

It uses RF, sorta like RFID and your keyless entry fob.
