Question Little Help Please?

Hey guys...well I've heard about 15 VERY different opinions about this, so I'm sick of hearing a bunch of BS and I decided to come ask my fellow Titan owners...better late than never right?

Ok, so on my truck now I have P245/75R17 sized tires...well the OEM's sorry...but I was wondering if these rims would fit on the OEM's

XD HOSS 17X9

And I believe they come in a +18 Offset...will they work? (Or what offset would be best...I'm planning on about 9" of lift w/ 35's, kinda like a little widder stance on my tires but not too much, will the +18 accomplish that?)

I've used the search button about 12 times now and looked for anything similar and had no such luck...Thanks for looking and any imput would be awesome

Also, I've heard that there's someone on the forums who has a hookup with KMC...anyone know who that may be?

Thanks Fella's (and gals)

-RyBo

Re: Little Help Please?

I don't know about the "offset" but I do know the backspacing should be between 4.5" and 5.5" or else you'll have rubbing issues. Most use a 4.5" BS.
They should fit the oem tires.
Peyton08 has the connect at KMC i beleive.

Good luck.

Re: Little Help Please?

Rim is too wide for the P245/75/17 OEM ... they need 8" width rim maximum. OEM XE and O.R. rims are 7.5" nominal width, with 5.375" b.s.

A +18mm offset on a 9" wide rim will give about 5.75" of backspacing, so the rim will stick in around 3/8" more than the OEM, which probably wouldn't be a good thing since you plan to add the 4" spindle.

Thank you man...so would it be better to do the -18 offset then...I believe those are the only two options...

-18 would be stick way out, (4.25" b.s.) and would rub at the fenders a lot.

They do have a -12mm that would give you 4.5" b.s. and would be better ... still probably need the pinch weld mod with some tires.
