does anyone know if these would be ok for towing?? I'm not towing all the time, maybe just weekends. I want to get an aggressive looking tire, but don't want them to be worn after 20k
These will be the first three sizes to be released. Nitto will release a few more sizes in the later part of October and then additional sizes won't be released for a few months after that (early 2010).
We should have pricing on the three sizes above by the end of this week.

Figures! I wanted to have them on my truck for the weekend before that. I guess I'll just go with the toyo Open country m/t.
These tires look good but still like the cooper and toyos better.

I called the local discount tire today and got a price quote on these in 295/70/17. I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting $290/tire + mounting and balancing. Still a badass looking tire, I just figured they would be cheaper than the toyo m/t.

I wouldn't expect a huge difference in price, since they are very close to being same basic tire, but since Toyo is their premium brand, the Nitto Trail Grapplers should be at $250 less for a set of 4 ... out the door, at least before I'd buy them.
The Toyo has a little more load capacity and probably weighs a few pounds more in this size. They are about 73 lbs. in this size.

I agree. I didn't expect a huge difference in price, but I definetaly figured they would be cheaper than the toyo's. Thats all right though. I needed them on my truck before sept. 11th, so it cut that option out anyway. I ended up getting a pretty good deal on a set of the toyo m/t's. So Im happy!

SWEET! they'll have my size!! Just depends if I can get the 35 12.5 18's as cheap as I can get Kooks, or Cooper's.
