I had my truck scanned by Titanblue when he did the 2* timing advance and it could not detect the ABS sensor. Should I be worried about this and what's the process of replacing this? I am thinking of just buying a new sensor and replacing it myself if it's not too hard.
Thanks in advance,
Shawn

You won't find anything simpler to replace...
1. Unplug old sensor at connection near frame rail.
2. Unbolt sensor from wheel hub (requires an allen key)
3. Remove sensor from hub.
4. Remove cable from the small bracket on spindle.
Replace with new sensor.
Might slap a bit of wheel bearing grease around the sensor when you install it.

I would not worry about it. I had similar readings on the next 4 or 5 Titans I was doing T/A's on at the Raleigh meet. Apparently some glitch in reading ABS computer. On some, it read OK on a second execution of the application. I had same thing happen to the one Titan I did at Cecil County Drag Strip a few weeks earlier. So, it is the Cipher somehow, not the Titans.

Well, I wouldn't have even worried about it, but as luck would have it on my way home from work, the SLIP light came on and has stayed on for the last hour or so. Any ideas on what this could be? (It is not the barke fluid) I am going to search now........

It is pretty sensitive. It will detect slip that you don't feel yourself. So, sounds like your system is working fine. I think it will reset after turning the truck off.

So I let the truck for a few hours and went to rent a movie. I was hoping the light would eventually turn off, but no such luck. I have an appointment at the dealership at 830am so I guess I'll wait and see. With my luck, the light will go off as soons as I pull into the lot and they'll say that there is nothing wrong with it.

I woke up, went for a drive and it was still on. Stopped at the dealership and they said they pulled a c1142 code for the ABS pressure sensor. I am out of warranty on this particular thing and the diagnostic to figure out what exactly it was would have run me $150. They told me it did not interfere at all with the operation of the truck or the brking system so I decided not to do the diagnostic / repair. They then told me that depending on what part is affected, it could cost anywhere from 300 to 1500 dollars to fix!
Anyone have experience withthis particular problem? If so, do I have any options?
I am going to post in the problems section as well to see if I can get more hits there. Thanks again.

Well I took a look at the manual and it doesn't help much with deciding to look at the front or rear press sensor located on the M/Cyl.
There are 2 sensors, take a look at both and their connectors first, pull each one off and the re-connect.
Try these documents...
