Tonneau Cover

Does anyone have any leads on an aftermarket tonneau cover for the Titan? In a perfect world there would be a cover that uses the inside bed rails. I thought about just cutting some plywood and sliding them in but I wasn't sure on how to make it waterproof. The inside rails have so much potential but I guess it takes time for the vendors to catch up. I would love to see a low-cost small bike mount that bolts onto the bed floor rails. It wouldn't take a whole lot to alter the hooks that come with the truck so they would be able to hold a bicycle in place. If anyone else has any thoughts on this (or leads on vendors) I would appreciate it.

You can search the forum and find the answer very easily. There are at least five at last count that are already making covers that work with the UtiliTrak and another half dozen that are working on them.

Most posts in the forum have pictures, URLs, prices, ship dates and opinions.

BTW, Nissan make one too. Imagine that.

Also, I deleted the other two duplicate posts with the exact same text in the other forums. There is no reason to post the same thing in multiple places. Most people read all the sections or scan new posts.

Actually Nissan isn't shipping the cover yet. I ordered one in February and I thought I would have it by now but Nissan said they were having problems with quality control . They also said that I wouldn't be able to use the rails with the Nissan cover.

I don't know who you talked to, but everyone I talked to at Nissan said that it would work with the rails. They would be stupid to create a truck with the rail system and then not create a cover that required you to remove them.

Maybe that was the quality control problem they were talking about. I know they had a lot of problems with the hard cover that was made for the Frontier.

or whoever is giving you your info is feeding you lines. im with rrumaner on this one, theres no way nissan would put such little thought into its design and have them incompatible with each other.

My dealer is kind of a waffler.Nice enough guy! I asked about the tonneau cover and the utilitrak. He said "I Don't Know We will have to look when it gets here." Doesn't Nissan write this stuff down? I will probably get an aftermarket before they find out the answer.

The one that Nissan is coming out with is going to be a zipper type, I'm not sure if it uses the Utili-trac system!!
