There was about 4 or 5 3000gt's there, and only one of them did better than a 15.1. That one was hooked up pretty good though. Arent they supposed to be quick?

Dude, really? He said there were two people from the forum there. I am one of those. He really ran 14.57 and several 14.6's all night.

The 4 slow ones were probaly sl then. Still I figure 15's is slow for a car like that.

Exactly, but they are NHRA certified tracks.

Awesome times!!! Thats crazy, and you have that big mo-fo'n long bed LOL. It is fast, but I believe I have seen 2 Titans run a 14.8 and 14.9 stock (on the forums) so, all I got to say is you must have that x-pipe in just the right location and your AFR is probably running pretty good. Not too mention, didn't you say you removed your tailgate? Still, amazing runs, makes the Cali and Northern guys jealous LOL....I had to be tuned and have a TruTrac before I ran a 14.5, plus I had a full CAI...You and KHA4079, who ran a 13.71 in a 300-500 DA with bolt-ons/tune and shift kit, are really making the VVT motors look nice to me!! I'm doind a VVT motor swap now LOL...Good job man, was their any sort of tail wind?
i guess the guys out here would run high to mid 13s out there
I don't doubt that the equally modded Cali guys would run high 13's out here too, of couse, I don't know how much you guys trucks weigh...Me and Paul are the only 13.8 guys out here and my truck was 4840 and his was 4880. A few of the guys have trucks well over 5000lbs, and can't get 13's. Including one who has PGM and cams and is a 14.0 guy, but his truck is like 5300+ LBS
and if you said you didnt slip on any of the passes then your other times should be close
My first pass of the night was a 14.66, my second one was a 14.61, next one was a 14.65, then after the 2deg timing advance, I ran a 14.60. I let the truck sit for about 30-45 minutes to cool off and then I ran my 14.57 pass. I did another one and ran a 14.62(with tailgate left off and air filter pulled out). I didn't have very much cool down time between runs except for after the 14.60 pass. All the rest were pretty much hot laps. When I pulled the filter and tailgate off, I was hoping to break into the 14.4's but it wasn't meant to be, engine was too heat soaked. I don't know what else you guys want me to do? I have my truck on video stomping a mud-hole in a well modded Bullitt Mustang and time slip of my pass at the track along with 2 witnesses from the board. Do you guys need to sit track-side and watch my passes with your own eyes in order to believe them? Geez......give me some credit here. I have bent over backwards trying to show you guys and it seems like nothing is ever good enough. I ran my best time with a nice cool down and a good launch. Keep in mind that I still have the lame a*s 2.94 open diff working against me. The track prep was awesome. MSrockyblue raced against me and he got me out the hole since he has a TT, BDPP tune, CAI and exhaust but once I hit 40mph and that limiter shut down, I walked him down and pulled about 2 trucks on the big end.

as long as you have a video or slips to prove it then i think thats consistent enough
O-FiveCC I weighed right at 5200lbs with me and a 1/3 tank of gas. There was hardly any wind to speak of. The most I seen was maybe 1-2 mph but it was a crosswind. My launch technique was rather simple, I did it just as I do here at my "track". Went around the water box, waited for the stage signal, got my tires lined up, pre-staged, staged and foot braked it to 1500rpm for my first 2 passes, all the rest were @ 2000 rpm. We were all on a .400 Pro tree and as soon as I seen the ambers drop, I let off the brake and rolled hard into the throttle. manually shifted 1-2 @ 5500 and it actually shifts @ 6000. The 2-3 shifts right on the button @ 6000 rpm.
