War StoriesThis section is for discussion of any races you may have particpated in. If you smoked someone like a pack'o'cools, let us know. Likewise, if you got beat... let us know by what, so we can keep an eye out for it next time.
I have my time slips as well as a couple witnesses from the board. I will post up a poll and after a while, I'll post up the actual slips so you can see what my truck is indeed capable of. BTW, thanks to my fellow T owners for helping me out with the 2 deg. advance and bed storage for my tailgate (which BTW did NOT help me run faster, ran better with it on....go figure!!). I'm horrible with names, but I'm sure they'll chime in here.........NO telling or voting for those 2!! LOL

I went as far as taking my tailgate out and pulling the filter for one run, didn't help my et or mph one bit......go figure!! I didn't have a very good cool down period either though. I shoulda got a couple of bags of ice to try and cool it down really fast between runs.

They don't want you to do that, cause you might still have water dripping in the staging lane, LOL.

I took my tailgate off before. With 4 runs with it on and 4 runs with it off, I only gained .04. Lets see some times! I guessed 14.6, but I'm also thinking 14.8ish now, but that would be with a good DA....if the DA was up over 1200 I would guess 15.0 or so

How do you figure out what the DA is?

Its a whole calculation with humidy, track elevation, and temp....But to make it easy, I go to google and type in "dragtimes DA calculator", and the first link takes you to dragtimes where you can select the track you were at and what time the run was done at and it will show you the DA....If you tell me the track and time range you ran in, I can get the DA for you

I'll try to find it, but you may be quicker. I ran last night at San Antonio Raceway a few times between 9 and 10pm

Density Altitude: 1016 feet
Relative Density: 97.06 %
Is this good or bad?
The DA was 2033 last month when I ran a 15.31.
