Well I attempted to video but he didn't race from the red light but waited until he was like 20ft behind me around 25-30mph then come Flying by so I gunned it to catch up but he'd let off around 75 then slowed down again to the speed limit (40mph). I get next to him and down shift into 2nd manually. We cross a bumpy intersection and we punch it. He starts a small I mean micro pull until 80 and my bumper is at his back door when he let off again. Some blue Evo/subaru lookin car, 4 door had a ricer wing, pretty wide scoop and some A pilar gauges. I NEED MORE MODS!!! I'm thinking one of those gauges was Boost

Prob couldn't hear him over your exhaust lol. They're quick cars, cheap move pulling a slingshot on ya, but nice run I'm sure he's taking about your truck to his subi buddies. Same thing happened to me a while back with an sti, he beat me, but was surprised as hell when I was still at his back bumper.

I actually got pulled by a 2011/12 WRX in my Challenger SRT8. He did catch me on a pretty bad pull and I ran out of pavement once I really came into the powerband. But I was surprised. I know my car is faster (ran a 13.2 stock), but he got me that time. Though I really didn't want to run to be honest. I'm not one for racing on the street.

They're fast cars. Must have been the sti to pull on your srt8. Love the challenger, my wife and I were arguing the other day cuz she doesn't think the challenger is any bigger on the inside than our mustang. The backseat in my mustang is just a formality lol

Nah, I did some research and it was a 2011 Impreza WRX Limited Sedan. They actually weigh less than my car and if in boost can pull an unsuspecting driver - such as myself. I lost because I left the car in D rather than hit the manual range select down a gear to get in the powerband. So I punched it, it bogged down, then downshifted, then went...it was also pretty heat soaked thanks to the composite intake manifold - things are like giant heat sponges lol. I was slowly reeling him in, but ran out of road and probably would have been going too fast on a public road for my liking anyway.
ETA: My car is a 2010, btw. So it's got the 425 hp 6.1 motor...not the much more awesome and fast 6.4, lol.
As far as Challenger vs. Mustang size...the Challenger is HUGE compared to the Mustang. My buddy has a 2006 GT and his backseat has hardly an inch of leg room. My car can actually seat 5 in relative comfort. Also has a massive trunk - but that's what happens when you base it off of a sedan platform lol. I've actually fit 9 people in it after a night out, no one had freakin rides home haha.

I hear ya, the Subaru is sweet, love the wagon. The challenger is by far the nicest of the big 3 when they all tried to go retro, dodge nailed, the Camaro isn't my cup of tea, and of course being a mustang owner, I really like the new mustang.

Agree completely man. I love my Challenger and love the fact that it's a little different and you definitely don't see as many on the roads compared to the other two. But I'd be lying if I didn't wish I had a new 5.0 Mustang...those things are ridiculous. I like the Camaro, but it's my least favorite of the 3. They're a dime a dozen around these parts...and you can't tell the difference between a V6 one and a V8 one - drives me nuts. I'd also LOVE to have a 2011+ SRT car with the new 6.4 Hemi, those 6.4s are absolute monters. Fried of mine with a 2011 Charger SRT8 went 12.4 stock.

That's a big car too. Imagine a mildly modded 6.4, or even your 6.1 for that matter. Wouldn't take much to break into the 12s with that beast
