We raced alot, I was faster at low speeds, he was faster at High. A dyno of the two trucks would show why, Tundra has better high end power. I'd say he would win in a quarter but he'd be behind most of the race.

The Tundra would pass you just before the 1/8th mile and continue gaining through the balance of the 1/4 mile.

No it would not, We raced around 10 times. Me in 4x4 from the dig would have him for 90% of the 1/4. He may not even pass me. We raced from a dig twice and I put a truck and a half between us and at 80 he was on my rear bumber.
Also I was barely moving up to his nose, maybe a half mph difference.

If that's the case, your Titan is running ~14.1-14.3.

Momentum means a lot in a roll. Looks more like a 2-3 mph difference in how you were advancing. Post the dig runs or was he barely in the video after you left him.

I was alone in the truck (with about 150lbs of gear) so I only recorded one run, notice the camera jerk in the beginning to shift. People walk at 2-3 mph, that was not walking speed.
Im not 14.3 I know that, he just couldn't hook up. We both spun them at a 50mph roll... It was drying up from a very mild snow storm. Again, I think he would beat me in the 1/4 but I think I would lose in the last 60-80 meters. I think I'm around 14.6-7.

I saw a bone stock crew cab tundra run a 14.3 in the 1/4. You might be faster than you think.
While that number is entirely possible I have seen many of them running much, much slower. The last 5.7 Tundra crewmax I ran, ran a 14.8 bone stock. The RCSB however is a different story. When I had my Hemi Ram I lost to a girl that I worked with against her RCSB 5.7 with intake and exhaust. With my cam and longtubes I was running consistent 9.1x in that truck at 77 mph. As a result I put 4.56s and an APS 2,800 in my Ram amd with open cutouts never lost to her again. 8.80s and 78 mph will put you in front of most 5.7 Tundras in the 1/8 and probably quick enough to stay out front through most if not all the 1/4. For every 10th you put on them down low its going to take them 2 tenths up top to gain it back.

I'm not so sure about this one. You clearly got the jump on him, BUT, he stopped your pull pretty quick AND reeled you in pretty quick. Cars don't do that unless they are considerably faster than the one they are racing against. I'm not doubting your post really, and I like the way your truck sounds as well. Problem is, there are too many "ifs" in a race like this. If he got a good launch being key. I assume he's not 4wd.

It does look like I got a jump but I don't think I did. We raced a ton of times and every race was like this. I'd jump out then he would pass me around 75ish. He is 2wd and I had mine in 2wd. He has a limited slip rear end, while mine is and open rear diff. We were at a 20mph role so wheel slip was limited but we spun tires at a 50mph start so there was some launch inconsistency. I know after racing so many times that I would beat that Tundra from 0-65mph, I would be ahead when I hit 75 but he would be catching quick and by the quarter he would have a truck length or over. I'm wishing the T had a bit more top end without having to do cams. But I'll get my headers and I'll race it again. I'll record it as well. It will be in early march when the Tundra driver comes back from competing for the USA bobsled team. Also something to note, I had around 100 extra pounds of weight once you calculate our body weight and the weight of our gear in the trucks.

I raced my friend who had a 5.7 Tundra as a rental (obviously completely stock) for about 2 months while his F-150 was being repaired from an accident. We raced from a dig-70 3 different times and I had 1-2 lengths on him each time. I run consistent 14.3-14.4 in the 1/4.

Sounds about right. Last one I ran I put 4-5 car lengths on to 100. At 115 when I let off I had 5-6 bus lengths on him.
