Saab Rematch

I ran into that same Saab I raced before. He opened his cutout on me this time. He got the jump and pulled a half car on me in 1st gear, but I pulled even with him and started walking him in the middle of second and then started pulling away. I ran him through the top of 3rd gear. When I let off after shifting into 4th he was about 4 car lengths behind me. I let off a little before the speed limiter and let him blow on down the highway. The E-Fan and PSC1 really woke the top-end of this truck up.

Re: Saab Rematch

He let off or he's not running right. This was the ls2 Saab right? Your trap speed doesn't show a 4 car length walking. I've personally run a stone stock trailblazer ss to a 14.0 @ 96. Not fast by any means but you'd have to be a bit faster to put 4 lengths on it. Nice kill though

Re: Saab Rematch

I got no gains with my efan and what's a psc1? I could see you pulling him through 2nd but not to 4th gear. 3rd gear is a dog in our trucks

Split Second PSC1-003 is a fuel control piggy back that I used to adjust my WOT air/fuel ratios into the mid 12s from the low 11s.

The fan clutches on the newer trucks without the pusher fan are very stiff and always engaging. I can feel a noticeable difference and between the two mods it seems to fly.

It sounded like he was on it the entire way. Yea that is the rebadged 6.0 SS TB You have to remember this kid has the truck on some gawdy looking 22-24" wheels. Slapping those wheels/ tires on a truck that must be minimally moded must have killed his times.

Re: Saab Rematch

I think some on here underestimate just how quick my Titan is in cool weather with the IAT mod, PSC1-003 tuned to 12.6:1 afr, and the e-fan.

The engine revs at 1 second, truck moves at 2, and speedo hits 60 at 7 and 100 at 15.

Re: Saab Rematch

Is it just me but does your tach not move as fast as the engine on the shifts? Like it lazily goes down in rpm. Throws me off watching the tach and hearing the engine. Point taken on huge rims. 24" will slow it down a bit.

The tach does lag a bit but its more a fault of youtube video/audio synchronization. They have had issues with it for years.
