I didnt read on to the 2nd page because one of his first few replies on that thread said that the track didnt record 60' times.

Re: The Rumble Bee

Yeah, they don't go up on the board, (so not on the video) but do show up on the slip.

Re: The Rumble Bee

OK...I'm sorry. I misread his reply. He said he didnt know his 0-60 time, not his 60' time. Thats my fault

Re: The Rumble Bee

Easy to miss that. A couple years ago Motor Trend tested an Infiniti QX56 (same truck but with fancier trim) and got a 15.2 quarter mile in warmer weather. These trucks are a bit quicker than people think.

Re: The Rumble Bee

I HAVE THAT ISSUE OF MOTORTREND! They did that test at Death Valley and it seems like our trucks can hang with the best of of them offroad as well(Range Rover,Lx470). THe only performance sector we lost out in was the Slalom where the Navigator beat us by 1.4 MPH. Other than that the Qx56 did a 0-60 of 6.8 1/4 15.2 @89.4 and it was the only truck to get a 0-100 time in. In my book thats extremely impressive for the biggest rig in the competition.

The Head wasn't using any tuner software-there wasn't any when he was running. At least none that woulda benefitted him.
