Good kill for the titan!

Heading home from the gym this morning i came up over a hill and see this black thing sitting on the guard rail. As i get closer i notice it is gobbler(male turkey for those non hunters) and when i am just about up to it the f**ker takes off running across the road and guess what? Yep turkey ala titan! That fu*ker was DOA! So i quickly get over on the shoulder of the road and check for damage. Then i go back and check on the condition of the bird. Well lets just say that the gobbler is going to "Get in my belly"! Thank god no damage to titan so that is good but not so good for the turkey! And no i don't have pics didn't have camera with me! wish i did!

Re: Good kill for the titan!

Well.....Good kill!!! I guess that qualifies. Hummmmm Gobbler? Never though of them as that... maybe a "man Turkey", or a "Male species turkey" or a" Penis Gendered turkey" or even a "black bird with a red scrotum for a chin" But never a gobbler........Have shot a few of those "Testosterone filled aviary thingies that gobble”

Re: Good kill for the titan!

Gobblers, Jake, Tom = Male turkey = dark meat (mostly)
Hen, *****es, hookers = Female turkey = white meat (mostly) mmmmm good.

When you buy your butterball at the grocery, it's a hen.

Re: Good kill for the titan!

I have a bird and a goose on my list of roadkill. That dam goose left a place on my front bumper right beside the fog light. Guess i should have slowed down a little more..
