What car/truck tends to pick on you the most?

I rarely get someone eager for a race and for the most part those that do I just leave alone.

Ok, I admit I've been know to act like I would take up the challenge only to let them leave the light tires squeeling and I sit there admiring the show.

Back to the question

What car or truck have you found that seems to be the most eager to give you a run?

Chevy & Ford fullsize Trucks = Not at all. For the most part they seem to care less if your the new kid on the block or not.

Dodge Trucks and Suv's= It seems anything with a Hemi or RT badge is far to eager to pick on everyone else.

Pontiac Grand Am GT= Go figure? They seem to be as bad as the dodge boys.

I get very little grief from any of the sports cars. They know they can beat me and could care less.

V6 Honda Accords= I would have thought the kids in the glamored up Civic's would have been the eager ones, but its there parents in there V6 Accords that wish to be first in line.

What about in your area?

frontiers are the ones in my area yeah you would think hey there our fellow brothers of nissan but no I guess they try to see if its a good investment without stopping into their dealer or just asking me

dodges come in second in my area and then fords there are so many that they outnumber the rest you would think they would talk about the fact that if one of them beat me then they would all just agree to stop beating a dead horse but you would be wrong

gm and chevy are popular in my area but I dont think I have ever had one try to race me same with toyotas but their arnt many of them in my area

Seems to me...

Any car that costs less than 10K. Neon's (not the SRT's either), Focus', Cavaliers'.

It's true-seems like the car that shouldn't be racing, or trying to race, always are!

I'd say 3/4 and 1 ton diesel trucks are what seem to want to provoke me the most. I've had a F150, a few Chevys and a few Hemis want to play but I just don't do it.

Anything with an aftermarket exhausts wants to have a go. Be it a huge semi-sized tube on an import, or a good old Flowmaster slapped onto the back of a compact or full size truck anybody making noise tries to get me to go.

4 banger import idiots with a fart pipe who believe The Fast and the Furious was real and that their Honda Civic is Fast. They actually also try me in the vette but are scared of the G35. Go figure. The vette will rape the G35 in acceleration, braking, and handling.

Also, Escalades, Denalis, etc. with bling-bling all over them seem to think chrome wheels make their rigs fast. I love to "educate" folks.

I agree, the only one that has tried to start somthing was driving of all things a 3/4 ton dually Hemi. What a dumb $hit he was.
Let's just say he's just a little bit wiser now.

Had a Hummer try to beat me off the line at 3 red lights. First time I was real serious but since that Hummer is so big I toyed with him the last 2 times. I'm trying to be carefull since I redlined the engine one day. Higher octane tends to make the engine more responsive and the tires brake ground easier.

When I first got my truck it seemed like every truck that pulled up beside me wanted to go at it. Now I guess the Titan's rep has gotten around and most people leave me alone now. But in my area most Chevys are the ones trying. Sorry Chevy but your days at the top are over!

While driving by myself, I always look around for other modded trucks or cars to go up against. But there seems to never be a right time. I always see them passing by on the oncoming traffic; never going the same direction. So, no-one has tried to give me the look or the "let's go" rev. I'm still waiting for that day. Most times when I do pull up against a Hemi or Silverado SS, I'm driving the Camry.

I chased after a Honda civic hatchback with full body kit and rims one time. Pulled up side by side. I yell, "let's go.." The kid just looked up at the almight Titan and smiled.. I guess he didn't want to go. It would've been cool, the road was straight and clear. But no race, I felt kinda dumb afterwards to actually iniate a race and get turned down. haha

The only other time, I was driving with the wife coming back from the in-laws. I look in the rear view mirror and see this nice looking silverado SS with tinted windows and the fog lights on. I pull to the next lane over to get side by side with him. He slowly drives forward and I keep pace with him. He wasn't interested, so I floored it--driving past him--getting plenty far enough for me to switch over back onto his(originial) lane.

Then I see him coming fast from behind, he switches to the left lane and gets about 10 feet from my rear bumper. I floor it thinking I'll leave him in the dust. Next thing I know he's passed me by 2 car length and cuts me off.. He has just owned me, he thinks.. He was already gaining speed before I punched it, so he had the edge.

Neons, Neons, Neons....Only one SRT-4 out of the bunch. Basically any Dodge wants to race. Couple of newer Toyota Tundras. Most of the time they just piss me off on the highway and end up watching my taillights. Its not so much that I'm actually racing per se, I just wan them to get the heck out of the way so I can get where I'm going!

Around here its Hummers, pre-04 F150s, and F350s. Theres one particular black Hummer with 20in spinners who always wants to play. He has yet to learn not to even try.
