Got a Hemi. No, it's not a question...

Ok, so I guess she didn't know what she was doing...but, it was fun!

Pull up to the light on a red ram with a Hemi. I don't like initiating races, so I waited. Noticed the hemi push up on the line...so I look over and a girl is looking at me with the "let's go" look. It's on! I pull up a little to acknowledge...and she rev's. I don't because I don't need too. Of course, I was a little worried since I have no performance mods and if she does, she might take me. But I did notice stock exhaust when I pulled up on her, so I felt pretty safe. Anyways, lights turn green and I think we scared everyone within ear-shot, because we both squeeled the tires...as we took off, she took a bumper lead on me (guess she got out of the squeel faster), but within seconds I was up on her 1/2 a car. By about 80 mph, she was on my bumper...Damn, I love my truck!

We slowed down and when we got to the next light, I was turning left and caught by a red. She went straight through a green, but as she passed she slowed and waved at me with a "nice race" smile.

So far 2-0.

4) Are you sure she wanted to race? - refer to number 1, but back in the day would have been a different story...

Hey, I'm a girl and I'll gladly race. Course it always seems to be hubby driving when someone wants to play. He's 1-1, he beat the stroker but lost to the Silverado SS, not by much though and that guy had to WORK for it.
