How do you know..

if you're racing a guy or if he just took off from the light kinda fast?

I don't race and won't race in my Titan, but occasionally at a light someone next to me will rev their engine, look my way, give all the signals... light turns green we both take off. Now I have a lead foot as it is and almost always take off from a stop with some power and acceleration. (I like to feel the g's pushing me back into the seat ) I'll drive off in what for me is a normal speed and watch the other guy haul *** like it means something, invariably leaving me behind the quicker we approach the speed limit.

So after reading some of the stories on kills, I'm wondering if these guys are posting on Dodge/Chevy/Ford forums that they killed a Titan in a drag race?

Odds are there telling someone how poorly the Titan runs.

Usually if you're racing a guy, you show some kind of acknowledgement. A wave or head nod; some kind of motion. Like other members here, they actually talk with the other driver and agree to go at it.

If you really want to mess with them, get their attention and honk your horn 3 times... if they're willing, they'll go after the third honk .. but usually that's for staged matches..like racing a buddy.

Definately not the case in my situation. I had a Titan goosing it next to me (he obviously had exhaust work done, and I don't know what else). He did it at least 3 times over the course of 1 mile (pulling ahead of me...slowing down and doing it again)....... until we hit the light. The light turned green and I waited for his reaction (it wasn't long)....and it was on. We acknowledged each other at the next light. He was a good sport.

bear hunter thats because the titan is like a cub to your big papa grizzly ford thing I have dubbed the bearhunter BEAST that is the most amazing thing I have ever seen sad I cant do it in the state of VA here in VA it is ILLEGAL
