Once again another race, Toyota Avalon

Coming back from HomeDepot, this guy in a 2003-04 Avalon (210hp 225lbs trq) was pacing in back of me, pretty close id say so i gave it a quick pedal to the metal for an instance, i slowed down and caught a red light, i knew he was game, 3rd gear for me VDC off and off we go, i immediately got a half truck on him then a truck and a half when i shut down at about 70 mph, he followed me for bit and gave me thumbs up i proceeded; he was an older guy maybe 45-50, hes the kind of person that is probably in the market for a truck and likes the Titan, just wanted to see what it had. I get alot of people wanting to race or "speed competition" here, i wonder why, i should start driving the big boy diesel just in case i roll up to a SRT Dodge truck................................. .................................................. ..................................Good Day....................................Go Task Force 121. "Only easy Day was Yesterday."

what does the 05 avalon have under the hood?
i'm too lazy to look it up

i read a review on that thing, and they KNOCKED the quality...said it wasnt like a typical toyota, things were breaking inside, and creaking all around.....

3.5L 280 hp motor with variable valve timing. This one is gonna give the Maxima's a run for their money. Of course, as soon as the road begins to twist, bye bye Avalon.

Nice kill. Speaking of those SRT 10 trucks there is a guy in my town that has a short cab srt 10. Got the pleasure of pulling up behind him at a stop light, saw him peak in the side mirror i'm sure getting a big ole view of the chrome grill. Problem was there was some damn cotton head in a crown vic in front of him so didn't really get to go. He did give the cotton head a small head start, straightened the truck out and we both punched it for all of 3 sec before we ran the crown vic over. 5-30mph the titan is close lol. Probably only because if he tried to go any faster he would have been roasting the tires. Thing sounded Nasty(in a good way) wicked burble upon decel. I'm sure my 4X4 titan is no match, will have to pull the supra out and would probably need a really long run even with that to catch a 500h.p. brick cutting through the air.
