Sorry, I haven't been following this thread lately. Wifes Tahoe has ported and polished heads with a little bowl work done to them, stock LS1 cam grind with Lunati roller lifters and roller rockers, Long tube headers with 3 inch piping to the rear, Granatelli MAF,K&N filter kit with piping that runs in front of radiator for obvious reasons, P.I. Vigilante with a 2700 stall, hardened parts through out the trans, rear is a 12 bolt conversion with 3.42 gears.....tons of other stuff to include programmer, TCC lock up switch, t-stat and most of the usual LS1 stuff. I've only taken it to our crappy track here a Little River once and on the stock rims and tires ran a 13.11 at 105 and that's due to spinning almost to the 1/8 mile mark, my R.T. was a decent .622.....but, remeber this is my wifes Tahoe that she drives everyday and picks my son up in. I wanted to go the Whipplecharger route, but she said "No Way!"......oh, truck still gets about 20-22 on the highway. I also forgot, before someone "assumes", this is all motor, no nitrous.

What the hell is a "stall speed car"? Never heard of that one......again, I haven't been following this thread.

Oh, yeah......2700 is not that high of a stall.....you should look into that.

Texas Titan, is the TCC lock up switch a switch to lock the converter?
I can see the mileage with the stock cam and lock up converter. Nice Job.

Yeah, I use a switch that is installed through the diagnostic port....did the same thing on my Grand National. That car dynoed at a little under 400 hp and 520 ft lbs of torque and I still got over 20 mpg with it. I'll be back in Texas in August and will try to make it to Little River for some runs before heading back to Iraq for the second time.
