Thumbs up F150.... Smoked!

Ok well here is my story:

Current Conditions: 6pm and the suns startin to dim. 78 Degrees with maybe a slight wind. Dry pavement. No cars anywhere around.

Opponent: 2005 Black Ford F-150, Triton 5.4L V8, Stock (Im assuming)

Me: 2004 Radiant Silver Nissan Titan, Endurance 5.6L V8., K&N Air Charger, Banks Power Monster Exhaust

It's a happy Thursday afternoon and I am driving with my gorgeous gf, kirsten. I am so proud to finally be driving my new Radiant Silver Titan and I'm all smiles. Were on our way to my Grandma's house to eat some dinner with the family and just hang out. I lower the radio and clutch the steering wheel as make a right onto a long dead street. A punk in an brand new black F150 (5.4 Triton on the fender) pulls up on the passenger side and starts starin at my gf and is trying to hit on her right in front of me. The smile on my face soon dwindles to that of a pissed off frown. To say that the guy in a new F150 kinda pissed me off by staring at my gf and trying to hit on her right in front of me would be an injustice of my anger. I was infuriated and I wanted blood!

I rev my engine twice and my banks exhaust spits a challenge loogie in his face. He looks at me, revs his engine and excepts the challenge. Kirsten starts to insist that I do not race as I hear myself say, "Its a matter of dignity and honor. It's on!"

I sit in wait of my victory and the F150 jumps the gun. The light turns green and I roll into it. He's about 20 meters in front, pullin away but I'm not sweatin' it. At about 10 mph, I warn kirsten to hold on and sit back. I hit it and make the F150 look like its standing still. I pass the guy just as I hit 3nd gear going about 65 mph (in a 50 mph zone haha), flip him off and increase my lead until I hit about 80 mph.

The loser had no chance. He had realized this when he was struggling to keep his lead in his F150 as I flipped him off and passed him with such authority George W. Bush would be intimidated. I hit a red light about 500 meters later. He's so shamed he pulls into my lane. He stops behind me just so he wont have to see kirsten smiling at laughing at how badly I demolished him.

Embarassment gets the better of him and he makes a right turn. I never see the guy again. Apparently no one told him his new F150 is screech and my Titan is Arnold Swarchenegger.

I get to say it first this time. So here it goes. Sould Not be racing in a 50 zone! Slow it down or I will have to join you! Racing a 150 is like me racing my wifes mini van. One question for you is "Why did you even floor it?" and what a waste of gas. I pulled up to a red neck....and I do mean RED NECK in a rumbling jacked up older Dodge with a rebel flag waving proudly on the back bumper. I had to get in front of him when the light turned green and he knew it. So the light changed and he punched it. I slowly layed into the throttle and went right past him. I heard his engine rev up when he shifted into second so he must have left his pedel on the floor between shifts. NO CONTEST! I kind of felt sorry for him because I just thought of all the braging he has probably done to his buddies about how fast and bad his truck is. Im sure his buddie that was with him wasnt impressed.

It's always impressive to beat the crap out of someone who never had a chance. Arnold Swarchenegger breaking Screech's neck is more pathetic than it is impressive. A stock f-150 can't possibly win unless you're simply an incompetent driver. Next time put the truck in park and take your bicycle out of the bed and race him - you'd probably still win - but it would be alot more impressive.

I ran a Harley Davidson F-150 at the dragstrip, well I didn't actually run him, he made a pass, 15.18 at 92 mph, I made a pass, 15.15 at 91.84 mph. Another guy in a 2004 crew cab 5.4 F150, ran 16.35 at 87 mph. The crew cab Dodge Hemi ran 15.34 at 89 mph. The HD F-150 did not run any more, but I believe he could have improved on his time, but who knows. The two standard cab Hemis both ran 14.7s at 90+ mph.

LoL - that "bed bolt" commercial for Ford kills me - 'cuase everyone buys a truck because it's bed bolts are the nutz - speaking of nutz - maybe Ford could lighten up on the bed bolts and put some balls under the hood next year.
