35's and still fast!!!!! - being discussed at Nissan Titan Forums in the War Stories section.
Well at about 12:30 AM I pulled up at a redlight beside of a brand new Civic SI hatchback who thought he was awesome. While waiting on the light to turn green i noticed him revving his engine at me which i laughed at. When the light turned green i pulled out gently to not spin the tires and when he got on it hard i stomped the gas, he got me on the jump but as he shifted to 2nd i cought up and my truck shifted into 2nd i started to pull ahead. Finally, after passing through the next redlight at about 90mph i was 1.5 cars ahead and the victory was mine.
Now i know beating a civic isnt everything but at the dragstrip in town the same type of car usually runs between 16.00 and 16.20 in the 1/4 mile so to have a 6" lift and 35's i am stoked.

Yeah this guy had a girl riding shotgun which made it even better because she shot me a bird when they went by after i won. Now i can't wait for the track to open which is thursday so i can see what my truck runs in the 1/4.
Nice kill! My friend's Civic SI ('04) and I had several trips to the track. Stock, he was running 16.7+. After an AEM CAI, DC 4-2-1 headers, and a Tanabe cat-back, he was in lower 16's, close to 16.2.
I'm glad to hear the truck is still quick, even with your taller gears (I have same). I am considering the 6" w/35's, but I am having a hard time letting go of the 'garaging' ability I have now. After the lift, the truck wouldn't clear the doorway. The milage is another factor to me. I wish I could have two, one to lift for the desert and one to lower and tow with.
