Those links you are showing are the older mustangs (link#2 is a '94 5.0). Link #3 is a 215hp '94 GT with the 5.0 (slow)

Look on your own first link down to the '99 GT. 5.5/14.1 sec.

I think you were just owned by the internet. "Need More"?

You're absolutely correct. I went back and re-read the original post that started this. I stand corrected and for that I apologize. Although it sucks, I can admit when I'm defeated. Sorry about that.

Race ya?

I totally agree the Rustang GT is a joke. They launch ok but then have nothing after that. I call my Supra the "rendering plant" cause i've lost track of how many "horses" it has killed hehe. The Rustang would have an advantage racing from a dig as I would imagine with a solid axle rear drive should hook up significantly better than a front driver. From a roll they don't put up any fight, at least the GT's, the supercharged cobra's are a different beast though. 5.0's are fun as well cause you never no what your gonna run into. Still waiting to run into a new GT on the freeway. Its fun to beat up on new iron with my technologically superior 16 year old car lol.

I dont understand why they are a joke? There aren't that many factory cars (that us normal people can buy) that will beat a factory GT.

I know right...lol...it's a four door sedan, a grocery getter w/ a back seat that has ample room for child seats and drunk siblings (not both ). Sorry but speaking from my own usage.

Don't get me wrong...they're both quick, nonetheless, different classes of car. 350Z vs. Mustangs war stories just make more sense. Leave the Alt and Max sedans to battle the Accords, Galants, etc. The Titan has the truck classes covered. But by all means...I guess the mixture of things makes these threads a little more interesting.

Who cares about the Altima & the Mustang, I want this!
2002 Chevrolet Corvette (Lingenfelter 427 twin turbo) 0-60 = 1.97 ... 1/4 mi = 9.24

(The Corvette is my all time favorite car.)
