My 05 TITAN v.s. MY brothers 05 Hemi

whats up everone? this is my first post.
I have a 05 crew cab 4x4 with almost everthing. My bother has an 05 dodge 4x4 sport with stock 20s ,tow package. The other day he drove my Titan and was very impressed with power.
So tonight we put it to the test.We were going down the road and i called him on his cell and told him to stop he pulled up about 2 feet from my rear bumper, he counted off and we went. From a dead stop up to 70 i coundnt pull him and he said the same thing that he couldnt gain on me.He stayed the same distance away from me the whole time.
We couldnt believe it.
Great for me, sucks for him!

Next time, do it side by side.

Ever heard of Drag? I think he was using you as a windshield and in turn, was able to keep up.

Hook 'em up again and get real results. That is of course if he'll do it again.

73 mph (GPS) It really likes the gas too!

89 SE V6 hardbody w/320,000 miles used to pull
my boat.......(needed a bigger truck).

Options in order:
2 degree timing advance thanks to Titanblue,
Fram AirHog, Nissan Hood Protector, Truxedo, Nissan XM receiver (mounted under steering wheel area as per Forum recommendations....worked like a charm)
with non-Nissan much smaller Xm antenna (mounted through Third brake light hole...piece of cake), and last....so far, PRG leveling kit (love it....no problem install after I realized that I really should listen to PRGreg about disconnecting the anti sway bar)

oh, also turn off the vdc if you have it. my 04 definately needs it to be off for a launch from a stand still. I have yet to be beaten by a dodge Hemi truck. My Girlfriends brother has an 04 ram 1500 crewcab. He now know the fury of the D.O.H.C 5.6 Titan. I dream about the supercharger that supposedly puts out 490hp when on our truck. I would love to watch the reaction when people would see my custom "490 H.P. S/C D.O.H.C 5.6" sticker on the hood!

aerodynamics

umm, drafting doesnt occur til after 80mph. and you have to be REAL close...bumper to bumper close. i am not saying it doesnt help below 80, cutting aerodynamics can be a factor regardless, if your on a bicycle, on foot, in a car.
